Areas of Focus:

My Story

My journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian was a long one, with a lot of twists and turns that were pivotal for me to develop the depth of compassion and empathy I use in my practice today.

From a young age, I learned there was a connection between the food I ate and my overall health and well-being. When I was a toddler, I had a milk protein allergy that would cause my skin to break out in hives or eczema when I would consume dairy. As a teenager, I played competitive basketball for the Manitoba Provincial team and observed the impact of proper sports nutrition on my performance and recovery.

Fast forward a few years later and I started experiencing debilitating migraines and digestive issues. After seeing several specialists, it was determined that my symptoms were triggered by certain foods I ate and stress. Once I started changing my diet and decreasing my stress, I eventually recovered my gut health and well-being. The journey towards health felt long and lonely at times.

Once I overcame these health challenges, I had a deep desire to help others who were going through similar challenges. That is when I chose to dedicate my career to helping individuals improve their health through nutrition and lifestyle changes.

This is the main reason why I am so passionate about what I do. I know first hand how the food we eat and our lifestyle choices can impact our health, and determine whether we are well enough to accomplish our dreams.

It would be my honour to support you on your journey.

Connect with Me

I am a big believer in surrounding yourself with health care providers that you feel comfortable talking with and are a good fit for providing expertise around your specific health needs and goals.

This is why I offer a complementary 15 min phone call to see if we are the right fit to work together. During this call, we will briefly talk about your health history, any past experiences you have of working with a dietitian or nutritionist, and what you are looking for in this working relationship. If we feel we are not the right fit, I will do my best to connect you with somebody who I believe may be better suited to meet your needs.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
